You will need to install ExFolders on one of your Exchange servers. For this demo we had version 2.8 installed on one of our DAG nodes. Download and install details can be found at the following link:

When you launch ExFolders choose File -> Connect, select Public Folders then choose a GC in the Exchange site and select the PF Database you want to recover from.
Click OK. You will come to the following screen. Locate the public folder where the deletes occurred, go to the “Items” Tab and at the bottom of the screen select the “Deleted Contents” radio button
If there are any deleted items in the Public folder you select it will look like this. Select the item, right click it and choose “recover items” The folder re-appeared immediately via our Outlook clients
