After installing ADFS and completing setup of the proxy servers your next step will be verifying that what you setup is functional and working properly. The easiest way that I’ve found to verify your ADFS will authenticate you is the click on the link below (with your domain specified)
https://fqdn.domain.com/adfs/ls/IdpInitiatedSignon.aspx
When you go to the link for your domain you should see the following. If you can successfully enter your user name and password then you are off to a good start.
